Dedicated to My Friend's Boxer Dog Buddy

Here are a few thoughts of my friend Debbie Yutko about her Dog, I acted as a medium to share her real feeling and experience with Dogs, to the readers of this hub.

I had dogs all my life so far, from my childhood till now and I plan to have one or two always in my household.

I have had variety of dogs,little and big.

As of now I have two male dogs, which I adopted from the S.P.C.A.,then they were only 2 months and 4 months old. Now, Thunder shepherd/ husky is 9 months and Jake is 4 months old, lab/shepherd.

They are so loyal animals, they cheer you up when your down. They keep you company, when your all alone. They can sense when there is something wrong, and sometimes can even help you out in your time of need. I know this is just a few things I have seen in the dogs I have had, and the one I have now.

OH! those cute little puppies, which can be a handful at times. Training them to go outside to do there duties, hopeing they do not chew your furniture ..lol.

Well I always have lots and lots of toys, chew bones, for my puppies, never once did I have them chew my furniture, Could be I just hit it lucky. All I know if they went to chew on something I did not want them to I put a toy by them or a chew bone, it worked.Have you ever tried this? Do this works for your puppy too?

I do discpline my dogs still one can say I so spoil them too, I feel they should be , who does not want to be spoiled now and then. So I let my dogs be dogs, and at the same time if they do something bad they get yelled at and get told not to do. When they are good they get praised "Good Boy" I like saying it all the time.

Just a thought, say, there is one of those days where you just do not feel like going home, well if you have a dog, you have someone there waiting for you patiently . That is your four footed faithful companion. When you open the door, there you see those two eyes and wagging tail, looking at you, waiting for hugs and kisses, there way of showing you how happy they are to see you, which makes you feel loved and so wanted by somebody. Its a wonderful feeling.

Dog also protects you, by taking care, guarding your home. If something is outside your residence,they bark and warns,informs you about it.

I love the way they communicate and understands me,if my dog is barking at someone who is out there by my house and I know the person or i know its ok, I will say "its ok boy, its ok" and I get a doggie kiss from them. How well he understood that I am pleased that he informed me about the activity outside and I took necessary steps and he can relax now and how glad I am for his care.

They give you unconditional love.Love them and take care of them, and they will respect you in return. After we are all they have and many a times they are all we have!
